Methodology

Universe
The top 100 cryptocurrencies by market capitalization from CoinGecko's public /coins/markets endpoint, refreshed on a cache window and re-fetched periodically. Provider, retrieval time, and market-cap rank are recorded and shown above. Coins still under this project's separate phase-1 exposure restriction are withheld from this list entirely (see the Data Dictionary) — the count shown may be slightly under 100 for that reason.
Binance mapping
Each CoinGecko coin is matched to this project's already-tracked Binance USDT spot pair by base symbol, conservatively: no fuzzy or similarly-named substitution. A coin with no active USDT pair in this project's scanner universe is still listed, with its trend-state and Gold-comparison fields shown as Unavailable rather than guessed.
Current state & flip data
Current/previous trend state, flip direction, and days-since-flip reuse this project's existing CTO Larsson indicator output and flip-history tracking exactly — Gold, Blue, and Gray keep their existing meaning; nothing here redefines them.
Gold comparison (win ratio & relative rank)
Eligible = mapped to a USDT pair with a known state (Gold, Blue, or Gray). Each eligible coin's comparison key is, in order: (1) state tier — Gold beats Gray beats Blue, matching the indicator's own bullish/neutral/bearish ordering; (2) this project's existing internal score metric, as a tiebreak within the same state; (3) how many days the coin has held its current state (fresher wins), as a final tiebreak. Every eligible coin is compared against every other eligible coin: win if its key is higher, loss if lower, tie if identical. Win ratio = wins ÷ comparisons made. Relative rank is a dense rank (ties share a rank) over that same key, highest first. This is a transparent ranking model over existing data, not a prediction and not investment advice.
Attention / Flow-Proxy Score
A 0–100 composite, shown with its components broken out separately, averaged only over whichever components have data for that coin (a missing component is left out of the average, never treated as zero): 24h price-change percentile within this Top 100 set; 24h-volume-to-market-cap-ratio percentile; 24h market-cap-change percentile; flip-recency (only for a mapped coin's most recent bullish flip, decaying to 0 by 10 days old); and recent (7-day) coin-specific headline activity, where covered. This score is evidence of relative attention within this data set — it does not measure actual on-chain or exchange fund flows, and is not a trading signal.
